Way of Work:
Work of civil engineer is related to building a structure. According to this building of roads, dam, bridges, stations and airport is a work of civil engineer. Qualification Required:
Students who want to do B-Tech in civil engineering must have completed 10+2 with physics, mathematics and chemistry. IIT – JEE and AIEEE are two important entrance exams related to this field.
By passing JEE entrance you can get admission in IIT. At state level also many entrance exams are introduced by the government. Students who want to polytechnic they must have passed 10th. B-Tech is course of four years but diploma course are of three or two years.

In civil engineering field there are B .E/B-Tech Courses and Diploma courses are available. Main courses are B.E, B-Tech Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, M.E Civil Engineering, M-Tech Civil Engineering, Diploma in civil engineering , Certificate course in Building Designing etc. Courses like Ph.D are also available.
Job Opportunities:
Degree holders in B-TECH and Polytechnics can get job both in public and private firms. For Government jobs openings are announced in newspapers. In construction companies’ civil engineers are always required. Except this entire one can search job in the field of teaching and research .
